  • Hahahahahaha!

So more business issues.  I think the drive for business successes is money.  I've dealt with Chinese business for a very long time now, and I understand how liquid their products are.  Liquid meaning easy to dispose of.  Am mentioning money, because whenever I go to a Chinese store (or restaurant), the lucky Buddha have to be there.

My parents bought eyeglasses from a Chinese eye wear yesterday, and this store was just concerned with the sales, the store was messy that there were boxes all over to the point where it was an inventory right at the front desk.

I do deal with money, and I do deal with it Biblically, because there are rich people in the Bible.  I think what's staggering was King Solomon's money, he was getting so much gold that it amounted to billions of dollars.  I understand that Jews have money, but at the same time, Gentiles also will have to deal with ration that I looked for it in the Bible.  And guess what, there is a verse for business for Gentiles in the Bible, :)

What am about to say may be thought provoking, but am just being realistic about it.

So here's the passage.  James 4:13-15.  "Come now, ye that say, To-day or to-morrow we will go into this city, and spend a year there, and trade, and get gain:  Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. What is your life? For ye are a vapor, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away. For that ye ought to say, If the Lord will, we shall both live, and do this or that."

So two basic things here, "You don't know tomorrow", and "Your life is a vapour."  Make it three basic things, because the latter is "If the Lord wills."

So dealing with the future, we don't know what's gonna be the trend for every quarter of the year.  Like right now, the trend is having a smartphone, but we don't know if this is gonna continue next year and such.  Yes, it is a virtual world, but even with Facebook, we don't know if it's gonna be superior at the end of this year.  If you look at a company like Microsoft, it was the power house for a very long time, but there's reports now that it is a dying business, because its competitors have become better over smartphones and iPad.

I think also what Bon Jovi said, at Larry King show, that he doesn't know culture also where he just goes out and make music, and by chance people show up at this concerts.

Life being a vapour also has it in a way where we don't know when we're gonna die.  Dying doesn't mean it has to happen when we're old age at sixty or seventy years old, I can die today.  And it's this unpredictable death which makes life lived like a vapour.

So what James says here is that, we should just pray for God's will, because we're at the mercy of our lives, being having an unknown future, and shortage of life.  But concerning God's will, we have to help people who are in need, and that He'll be Jehovah in our lives.
